The “Help Us Get to $1 Million Contest” (“Contest”) is open only to individuals who are registered in the C21 system with an appropriate @century21.ca email at the time of the prize draw. ("Registered in the C21 system" means an active member or employee with a valid account.) Contest runs from August 21, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. PT to October 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PT (“Promotional Period”).

HOW TO ENTER:

1.      Donation Entry: For every $21 donated via the official Easter Seals fundraising page (linked here) during the Promotional Period, donors will receive one entry. The total number of entries will be rounded to the nearest whole number. For example, a $500 donation would result in 24 entries (rounded from 23.80). There is no limit to the number of entries per person. All proceeds go directly to Easter Seals.

2.      Alternative Free Entry: Submit a handwritten response (min 1000 words) explaining how attending OneC21 will help you grow professionally. No donation is required to enter. Send your scanned submissions to news@century21.ca with your name, contact information (email and telephone), brokerage details, and the subject line: ‘Help Us Get to $1 Million Contest – ALTERNATIVE ENTRY’. Alternative Free Entry is limited to one (1) entry per person.

PRIZE DETAILS:

For every $1,000 raised, one (1) prize will be awarded: a ticket to the OneC21 conference in Vancouver, BC, scheduled for March 9-11, 2026. We guarantee that one ticket will be available to win regardless of amount raised. Prize includes conference admission only; travel, accommodation, and other expenses are NOT included. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value. If a winner has already purchased a conference ticket, the cost of the ticket will be refunded.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Winners will be selected from all eligible entries and notified via the contact information provided at entry. The winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question within a 24-hour period of notification. Winners must comply with all Contest rules and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

LEGAL TERMS

By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Contest terms. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. CENTURY 21 Canada Limited Partnership (the “Sponsor”) reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time without notice. This Contest is conducted for charitable purposes; no portion of the donation is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution for purposes of federal or provincial income tax.

Other Disclosures: Odds of winning is determined by the number of final entries made during the Promotional Period. This information is disclosed with respect to the requirements of adequate and fair disclosure under paragraph 74.06(a) of the Competition Act (“Act”).
